WHO WOULD YOU RATHER GO FOR ;A BETTER MAN OR A MAN WHO WOULD MAKE YOU BETTER

I wouldn’t say our bachelorette of this century do not know what’s good, but rather they find themselves battling in numerous choices which in turn leave most of them, indecisive and some choose myopically. Have listened to ladies say ‘I want a man of high potential, a man of great dreams, a man that has thirst for riches and luxuries, a man of blah blah blah [ a better man], all good. In contrast, have heard ladies who say they want a man who can sweep them off their feet, a man who will bring out the woman she dreams of becoming, a man who will interprets her dreams and make it real, a man who will put her first before anything …uhhmm…not bad either [a man who will make you better].
Firstly, let me be crystal, my intention is not to castigate any one, any choice, or any interest whatsoever you have. And I believe at the conclusion of this piece, you will see the essence of whatsoever your interests, choices are and hopefully how to make them [choices] brilliantly followed.
A better man;
We own many definitions to who a better man is, owing to our various perspectives. I won’t want to bore you in going into the various definitions people, especially ladies own to who a better man is. I should probably point out two or three. Some ladies believe a good man is a man who can attend to their financial needs, material needs, social needs, etc needs. While I do not want to disagree with them on that, you hear some ladies say a good man is a man who is perfect in nature [ I wonder if anybody is perfect]; tall who is handsome, dark in complexion, muscled, with no port belly, with a goatee or bearded. As ladies specifications in guys seems not to have a stop, not in this 21st century. I one time spoke to a female and threw this palatable question to her to answer, a question of who a better man is? Thus was her response; someone who is Godly, with human feelings or better put, caring, a believer, honest and fateful. Just what I expected her to say, you asked why? Well, the Miss is a sister by virtue.
Actually, a better man could be of any of those previously listed categories, depending on your notion. It is subjective not conventional. Most ladies or spinster choose to go for a better man by picking a man with astonishing physical qualities. Don’t call for my head just yet. It’s not a bad thing to do, but then, which of the qualities do you look forward in a man. What makes you arrive to a conclusion that he is a better man? Because he owns a car [no beef to those who own cars] , because he has gat the look [no offense to the handsome dudes, including myself] or because he is a cheerful giver [Santa Claus at all season]. Howbeit, the scripture commends a cheerful give, that’s still not a whole reason to name him a better man. No offence though, there are shallow minded spinsters who in their shallow mind think of those qualities as a means of pin pointing/ identifying a better man.
A man who will make you better;
A man who talks about making that dream of yours into reality, a man who thinks and does things to bring out the woman you always dream of becoming, a man with purpose and dreams to interpret your dreams and make you realize your purpose, a man with a priority to make you a better woman.
Like I wrote, this piece is not written in with a sense to castigate choices or interest rather to illuminate our thinking faculty. Just before I drop my pen, will like to make a reference, the President elect of the United States of America, Donald Trump, wasn’t a better man, objectively. He had series of accusations of rape, assault of young women, a liar, to talk of few of his unworthy qualities. But then he made his wife a better woman. How? Melania Trump used to be a model and has posed nude in a musical video. She is no doubt a better woman today reason is because she chose a man who has the capacity and vision to make her a better woman. She made a better choice of becoming a better woman rather than having just a better man. Who would you rather go for; a better man; a man who will make you better.
