POETRY: IF TODAY WAS MY LAST

If today was my last
Whether at night or in the morning
Will i be at peace even as i end my journey

If today was my last
Will i be missed by any
Even as i set out of this ship this early

If today was my last
Have i written what i should be remembered for?
Or by this, have i caused my own flaw?

If today was my last
Should i be of good cheer?
For I'm about to meet my creator at his sphere

And then i ask myself, am i done with my doings?
Because today could be my last,
Am i to have bad feelings?
