Since his feature in Obi Emelonye’s Last Flight to Abuja, Anthony Monjaro has been getting attention from fans and stakeholders in the entertainment industry. His sex-crazed character in Lekki Wives made him a sensational hit. Monjaro immediately became a sex symbol.

Monjaro is still single despite the attention he’s getting from fans. The London returnee, who is over 40, said he is yet to settle down in Nigeria since he just relocated.

“I moved back to Nigeria a while ago but I need to settle down. I don’t want to get married and struggle. I will settle down next year. You are not the only person on my case, everybody is on my case” he said.

He went further to say he could marry an actress, “It doesn’t matter if the person is an actress or not. As long as am connected with the person that is good enough.”

Monjaro holds a BSc in Multimedia and Film Production from Thames Valley University, London and a Diploma in Performing Act for Screen from Goldsmith College, London.

Monjaro, whose real name is Anthony Akposheri, was a regular on the African popular daytime TV soap, Tinsel, for six months and has gone on to star in a few other popular TV drama series.
